Elai Cappadocia is run by Özge and Kubilay Bozunoğulları. The couple are also the owners of this beautiful place. After working for 10 years for Club Med in North and Central Africa, the Caribbean and Europe, Kubilay Bozunoğulları came to Cappadocia in 1996, fell in love with the region and slowly started to buy stone houses next to each other in the neighborhood where Elai Cappadocia is located to turn them into boutique hotels.

In 2002, Kubilay Bozunoğulları opened Elai Restaurant and continued to grow Elai by settling in the region. In 2005, the year he opened Elai Houses, a cozy boutique hotel with six rooms, was also the year Kubilay Bozunoğulları and his wife Özge married. For more than 10 years, the business, which has been continuously run by Bozunoğulları without changing hands, continues to grow with the support it provides for catering and events, and continues to increase its quality while maintaining its classic look.
